Get Back to School Ready! An Organized Approach to Packing Lunches
It is so hard to believe that it is already September! Before we know it, the first day of school will be here. This year my kids are headed to two different schools and for one of them we will be packing lunches daily. All the more reason to get us organized before the school year begins, making sure we are Back to School Ready!
I wanted to create a space in the kitchen for all of the lunch boxes, kid friendly food storage containers and travel water bottles. It took a bit of rearranging, but they are all in one drawer now. It’s going to be so much easier to have all of these items in one place!
My little picky eater will be able to help pack her own lunches by selecting items from the organized compartments in the refrigerator and the snacks cabinet.
I’m excited to empower my daughter to help select what she wants to eat and even pack the lunchbox herself.
We have decided that we will pack lunch together each evening after dinner, so it's ready to grab on our way out of the door in the morning.
