Keep It Simple ~ The Costume Wall

Here's a really fun idea for your house! Create an area dedicated purely to imaginative play!

Everyone's current favorite play area is the costume wall. All costumes and accessories are hung with my favorite organizing tool that I've literally mentioned in every post so far, The Command Hooks! They're hung at kid height so they grab whatever they want and get right to it. The bottom row is for the costumes and the top row is for masks and other dress up accessories.

This area does get out of hand pretty easily, so I also have a basket on the floor (not pictured) for the kids to toss things into if they just can’t handle hanging items back up on their hooks (which we all know happens more than not.). This area of the playroom is another great example of how being organized allows for more spontaneity, creativity and most importantly, fun for all of us!
