Plan a Winter Craft Party

Kids love arts and crafts so why not throw a craft party for your little artists! Your children and their guests will thank you when they create their own masterpieces. Jessie’s Party Stop found four fun and easy winter themed crafts perfect for your next party!

Invites:  Start your craft party off with a great invite! Etsy shop, The Party Stork, has invitations perfect for your craft party! Your guests will be ready to paint the town in rainbows when they get these invites!  Zazzle also offers the perfect invites to get your guests ready and excited for your craft party!

Decorations:  Embrace the colors of your craft party theme! Primary colors galore with a hint of winter…like silver and gold will add to the festivities. Keep your decorations simple focusing on the craft table(s), surrounding them with balloons and streamers and you are ready to go!  If you are looking for tips on how to set up your craft table, Jessie’s Party Stop offers a blog ‘Getting Your Craft Table, Party Ready’ with all you need to know to make sure your craft table is ready to go!  If you’re looking for more inspiration, check out Jessie's Party Stop’s Pinterest board, Craft Table.

Food:  Decorate your buffet’s tablescape using the dominant colors of your crafts and continue the winter theme by hanging paper snowflakes from the ceiling and drape a light blue cloth as a backdrop. Can’t figure out what to serve? Along with traditional kid’s party food and snacks, offer your favorite hot chocolate recipe with some marshmallows!

Crafts: There are several crafts you can create during your craft party. The crafts featured are really cute, fun to assemble and inexpensive to make! Bonus! They all use items you can find around your home or purchase at your local discount store.

Craft #1  Sock Snowman.  Let your guests make their own snowman!  This craft is so easy and super cute!  Go to East Coast Mommy for all the details on how to create this craft!

Craft # 2  Paint Chip Garland.  I love this one!  Who thought you could use paint chips to make such adorable decorations?! Your kids will love to make these!  Hang them in your home, integrating them into your holiday decor when you’re done! Check out the tutorial from A Girl & A Glue Gun here!

Craft # 3 Paper Plate Polar Bear.  Making a Polar Bear out of paper plates is brilliant! Hang it on the wall or fridge when you’re done and listen for the oooohs and ahhhhhs! I tried this with my kiddos from Crafty Morning and loved it (see pic above)! Check out the tutorial from Crafty Morning here!

Craft #4  Egg Carton Penguin.  Waddle waddle goes the penguin! This cute little guy (or gal) is so much fun! Watch as your kids play and have fun with him after creating it! Check out the tutorial from One Little Project At A Time here.
