Disney Q&A

"Penny, which is the best resort for a family's first visit with a 2 & 4-year-old? The kids love Disney Jr. characters. We want to enjoy the pool and resort and go to the parks for a couple of days."

While all the monorail resort offer similar benefits, my personal recommendation is Disney's Flagship Resort ~ Disney's Grand Floridian Spa & Resort

floridian

The Grand Floridian offers easy access to the Magic Kingdom. I suggest spending your park days at MK, popping back to the Grand Floridian for pool time and naps. There's a terrific splash pad play area, zero entry pool and lots of grassy areas for outside fun. Inside, your family will find comfy accommodations with a classic clean vibe - including a convertible sofa bed.

Other great ways to enjoy your stay at the Grand Floridian:
~Travel by monorail or ferry and you won't need to collapse your stroller.
~Early morning character dining is easier when the restaurant is located at your resort. 1900 Park Fare is a fun way to introduce characters to the little ones.
~From bottled water to diapers to kid-friendly snacks, the resort shop has almost everything you'll need.
~While the kiddos are napping with dad, it's easy for mom to sneak away and enjoy a spa treatment in the main building.
~Hopping over to Hollywood Studios to catch the Disney Jr. characters in action is easy with Minnie Van Lyft service (car seats included).
