For the price of one movie ticket or one new paperback book, shoppers can walk out with a basket full of books, DVDs and CDs that they can enjoy over and over again, or pass on to a friend.

Three agencies, The Old Santee Canal Park, the Berkeley County Historical Society, and the Berkeley County Museum and Heritage Center have partnered to put on our very first pirate festival. Our mission is to provide opportunities for the public of all-ages to learn about South Carolina’s rich colonial and maritime history; with an emphasis on the Golden Age of Piracy.

Weather permitting, Lowcountry Stargazers will host "Astronomy in the Park" at Brittlebank Park, most Wednesdays from sunset until 9pm (10pm DST), weather permitting. Stop by after work or before dinner and see what the universe has to offer. Our members will have a telescope or two set up, and will be available to answer your questions about the night sky.

We will set up at the north end of the park opposite the Marriott Hotel, and for those attending, we ask that you park in designated parking spaces, and not on the grass.

This is a family friendly event full of entertainment for all ages where everyone is encouraged to come in costume! Games, treats, tons of candy, face painting, balloon twisting, hay maze, photo booth, costume contests, pony rides, & a fun house will all be part of the excitement. The popular Mad Scientist Lab is also back again this year and will be sure to fright and delight.

Fright Nights will Feature a milder version of our Spooky Train Ride from 6 - 7:30 pm. After 8:00 the Train ride will be for the more adventurous at heart.

Beginner Road Ride for all riders interested in learning about group bike rides. We will provide a ride leader who will lead you on the route, answer questions, and assist with mechanical issues. Learn about the rules of the road, how to ride in a paceline, and basic bike maintenance skills, including how to fix a flat tire! All rides start and end at the store. We will have post ride coffee and snacks.

Helmets are required. We highly suggest a front and rear blinking light.

NO DROP RIDE - we will regroup if anyone has difficulties with the pace.

In the last year alone, Follypalooza paid over $17,000 in local cancer patients bills, including a significant contribution to give one local a much-needed new roof. In it's 11-year run, Follypalooza has paid $80,000+ in patient bills for over 40 people in the Folly community.
