Toddler Time is a great shared experience for child and parent. A time for your little ones to discover the joy of being active, bouncing under the supervision of their parents, and without interference from the big kids.
Join us for a two-mile non-competitive fun run and walk and special preview of the Holiday Festival of Lights at James Island County Park. After reaching the finish line, participants are invited to enjoy all that the festival has to offer. Presented by Boeing South Carolina, Chick-fil-A, and Charleston Animal Society.

Weather permitting, Lowcountry Stargazers will host "Astronomy in the Park" at Brittlebank Park, most Wednesdays from sunset until 9pm (10pm DST), weather permitting. Stop by after work or before dinner and see what the universe has to offer. Our members will have a telescope or two set up, and will be available to answer your questions about the night sky.
We will set up at the north end of the park opposite the Marriott Hotel, and for those attending, we ask that you park in designated parking spaces, and not on the grass.

We're different after dark. Lasers, music and blacklight transform the whole park into a crazy jumping dance club. Flips are limited to Foam Zone during Glow. Waivers are required for all persons entering the park during Glow.

The City of Hanahan will be hosting the sixth Annual Red White and Blue Fall Festival Saturday November 10th from 9-5pm at the beautiful Hanahan Amphitheater. This exciting event will be great fun for the entire family.
Join thousands of people as they help Hanahan celebrate and honor our nation’s veterans. There will be jump castles, kids games, military displays including World War 2 re-enactors from the decorated 36th Infantry Division. Face painters, balloon artists and food and craft vendors from all over the low country will also be out in full force.

Craftworkers demonstrate the skills practiced by enslaved people as they prepared the antebellum plantation for winter. Different aspects of 18th and 19th century plantation life will be explored including domestic skills, African American culture and Gullah storytelling.
Plantation Days programming is included with general admission to Middleton Place.
