Kids age 6 and younger are always welcome to jump during standard park hours, but #KidsJump is reserved just for these little ones from 9am to 10am Monday through Saturday. They can jump with kids their own age without the rustle and bustle of a bunch of other kids in the way.
What can we learn by looking at artifacts? Study items from our collection to see if you can figure out their function and learn the importance of material culture.
The third Friday of every month The Charleston Museum offers a special program for home schooling families. These programs feature one of our field trip classes, a chance to go through the Museum, and an activity.

The City of Goose Creek and Carnes Crossroads are hosting a St. Patrick's Day celebration for the entire family to enjoy. There will be music, food, visits with Goose Creek's largest Leprechaun, games, crafts, and a Leprechaun Gold Hunt for ages 2 to 8.
Hurricane Boxing is a place for people who want all the fitness benefits of training like a real boxer but aren’t necessarily interested in getting in the ring and fighting another person. A fully equipped boxing gym with a ring and all necessary training equipment.

Join the Charleston Parks Conservancy for a family fun movie night at Medway Park & Community Garden on Friday, March 16. Come at 6 p.m. for superhero-themed activities and games provided by Nature Adventures and food trucks. Superhero costumes are encouraged. Free popcorn will be available from the City of Charleston Recreation Department. Bring chairs and blankets; the movie will begin at dark (about 7:15 p.m.). Pets on leashes are welcome. Medway Park is located at 2113 Medway Road on James Island. Disney Pixar’s “The Incredibles” follows a family of undercover superheroes trying to live the quiet suburban life, but who are forced into action to save the world.

Back by popular demand, we will be holding Nerf Wars 5.0 inside of the Mabeline Gym. The Mabeline concession stand will be open serving food and drinks. For ages 6 and up. (younger players may participate but must be accompanied by an adult)
BRING: All players will need to bring their own NERF gun with at least 50 rounds of ammunition.
Proceeds will benefit the Hanahan Robotics teams.
