All new for 2018! Producers Brad and Jennifer Moranz have created an entirely new show of musical performances and comedy sketches — all with a holiday theme. Running Dec. 8-23 at the Charleston Music Hall, The Charleston Christmas Special is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit.
There are two shows on Sundays: 3:00pm and 7:30pm
Last year’s production of Charleston Stage’s A Christmas Carol set box office records with sold out performances. By popular demand, this holiday favorite returns. Celebrate the warmth of the holidays with Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim, and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Future in Charleston Stage’s original and imaginative take on Dickens’s immortal classic. A Christmas Carol is the show that always puts you in the Christmas spirit. Christmas card sets, hundreds of colorful costumes, a live orchestra, and a professional cast will help ring in your holiday season. This spectacular production is filled with visual marvels and special effects—including flying spirits and a ravishing holiday musical score.
Join us for the 11th annual Chanukah in the Square extravaganza, sponsored by the Norman and Gerry Sue Arnold Foundation and the City of Charleston.
Once again the Yaschik/Arnold Jewish Studies Program and Chabad of the Lowcountry, have partnered with the City of Charleston’s Office of Cultural Affairs, and many other community organizations. Chanukah in the Square is the largest annual Jewish event in the state of South Carolina, and is a wonderful, family friendly way to come together as a community.
Brilliantly lit floats and community groups will march down Coleman Boulevard as the Mount Pleasant Christmas Light Parade sets sail to the delight of thousands of residents and visitors. The parade will start at Mill St. traveling south and ending at the intersection of Coleman Blvd. and Patriots Point Rd.
