Reading Buddies

Reading Buddies is a six week program that gives older students and beginning readers the opportunity to share the fun of reading. Li le and Big Reading Buddies are paired together, and meet 45 minutes per week for a six week session. Each session includes buddy reading, a snack, and a literacy related ac vity such as a game or cra . Parent or guardians of the Li le Buddy must stay in the library during the program. Li le Bud- dies are in grades 1-4. Big Buddies are in grades 5-12.

Somerset Patriots National Anthem Audition

Bridgewater Commons

The Somerset Patriots, Magic 98.3 FM and WCTC 1450 AM will host a national anthem audition fundraiser designed to benefit Operation Shoebox New Jersey, an organization that creates and ships care packages to U.S. troops based overseas.

Up to 100 soloists and small groups will audition during the event with up to 10 winners selected to return as finalists to sing in front of judges at TD Bank Ballpark at a later date.
