Butterfly Festival

Butterfly Festival

August 12, 2017

10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

The Butterfly Festival is our largest annual educational event. It is an enlightening day focusing on the importance of maintaining the delicate balance between humans and the natural world. This family-oriented day has grown to be a major regional event, attracting more than 3,000 visitors. Enjoy live music in the new beer garden with wine & cider, take a hay ride tour on the Watershed Reserve, and stop by our dunk tank to see a splash. Nature walks are scheduled throughout the day as well as the famous Butterfly and Bug Parade. Check out the Insect Zoo and family programs indoors, or cool off in our chill tent. Kids can try out a nature obstacle course, play games, and discover the magic of the butterfly house.
