Join a Duke Farms Educator one Sunday morning a month to learn why Duke Farms is for the birds! During this series, Junior Ornithologists will gain an understanding of what makes birds so unique and fascinating. Through games and classroom activities we will explore the life histories of birds and delve into topics such as bird biology and adaptations for flight, bird behavior, diets and habitats. We will learn to use binoculars and field guides and will go outside to see what our feathered friends are up to throughout the year. At least 1 adult must accompany each family of children during this program, with no more than two adults accompanying each child.

All activities are open on weekends, including hayrides, farm tours to see the animals, u-pick pumpkin right from our pumpkin patch, the 5 acre “15 Year” corn maze, pony rides, kids bale maze, our food stand – proudly serving our home grown hamburgers & more.

This canvas, “Monkey Around”, is geared toward children ages 5+. However, feel free to register and try it with your younger son or daughter if you would like.

The children will be exploring acrylic painting, watercolors, pastels, glass painting, garden slates, wood signs, drawing lessons, and more in a safe, FUN, and relaxed environment.

We are proud to announce that Prestige Dance Academy will now be offering a "Mommy & Me" class on Tuesdays this fall!!! The class is for toddlers and parent or caretakers dancing together while focusing on rhythm, movement, music and fun! Learn dance moves for home while developing healthy toddler bodies and coordination! Classes are 45 minutes long and cost $55/month or $150/3 Months! The children will be led step by step in creating the Starry Halloween wood sign. Following the paint session, the children will get a chance to visit and feed all the animals.

Developmental classes are structured to give young athletes a positive and high level environment, to further their education in the sport. At this level players being to develop individual strengths and weakness', which our trained coaches will be able to target and enhance throughout each session. Tactical information will begin to be introduced through structured live game play scenarios, delivering the mental aspects of the game.

The Center for Nutrition and Diabetes Management, Hunterdon Pediatric Associates and the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers are offering, “Weigh to Go,” a 4-week weight management program for kids ages 10 to 14 and their parents. Weigh to Go will be held Wednesdays beginning September 12th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The class will discuss nutrition from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and an exercise class will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The program will meet at the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Center, 537 US 22, Whitehouse Station, NJ. The fee for the program is $95, which also includes a free 2-month membership to the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent when exercising at the Wellness Centers.

Every Thursday this Fall, families meet outdoors to connect and learn through play. In a 5-part class each week, Tinkergarten Leader, Cait Csiszer, will facilitate an expert-designed play scenario, allowing children of various ages and needs to explore, problem solve, communicate, collaborate, and create together. Parents and caregivers learn, too, as we’ll share insight into your child’s development.
The program progresses to meet each child’s needs season after season. This fall, the curriculum for 18 months-5 years will support the development of a range of cognitive, social/emotional and physical skills. Our focus skill for the season will be problem solving.
Classes meet the first and third Thursdays from 10:30-12noon. Babysteps is a parent support group that meets regularly to discuss baby and parent related issues. It’s a great place to meet other parents, too! No registration required and class is FREE! BRING YOUR BABY! Classes are held in Classroom #1 in the HMC Education Center on Rt. 31 (215 Route 31 Flemington)

Babysteps is a support group that meets to discuss issues important to new parents. It’s a great place to meet other parents, too! No registration required and class is FREE! Classes meet weekly from 1-2:30PM and are held in Classroom #1 at the HMC Education Center, on Rt 31. For directions call (908)788-MOMS. In the event of inclement weather, please call Parenting and Childbirth Education Services at (908)788-MOMS or HMC at 788-6100 to check for cancellations. No class July 4th.

A fun night out for the kids while the parents get to have some alone time or a nice dinner on the town.
Tonight the children will be painting their favorite canvas from the Kid’s Gallery on our website. Feel free to mention the title of the canvas in the Messages section of the registration form and it will be all prepared for the paint session.
Pizza and water will be provided for the children before we take the farm tour to see all the animals. We will be ending the night with making S’mores by the fire pit as dessert. Parents are more than welcome to join us by the fire pit at 7:30 or pick up the children at 8:00.

Put on those dancing shoes and join us for a fun-filled kid-fueled fundraiser! On Friday, September 21st, kids will dance the night away while raising money for the Daniel T. Liss Memorial Fund ("DTL"). This 1.5 hour Fortnite-themed dance party is for kids ages 6 and up (come on, tweens!!) to raise money to assist families of children with serious pediatric illnesses. It will be an outdoor event, featuring every Fortnite dance you can imagine on our "big screen"-- kids are challenged to dance them all for the duration of the event! We will have water readily available for our dancers. Parents, you can stay to watch the fun or go take some time to yourself.
