It’s the Tod Squad at BSC!!! Come join us for the Tod Squad where toddlers ages 1-4 get to enjoy their own amazing program! Children get to play, climb, bounce, explore and so much more all in a safe, fun environment. Activities include: special toddler bounce house’s, soft play equipment, PlayMaze, sports balls, toddler toys and more! Parents are asked to stay and play with their child and enjoy in the fun. Sessions from 9-11am and 2-4pm.

The Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers are dedicated to providing health enhancement and disease prevention programs for the community. They offer a wide variety of educational classes each month at Clinton and Whitehouse Station locations. As part of their June Education Series, the following programs are currently open for registration:

“CPR Basics” (Choking, Hand-Only CPR)

CPR, or cardiopulmonary resuscitation, provided immediately after a sudden cardiac arrest can double or triple a victim’s chance of survival, but only 32 percent of cardiac arrest victims get CPR from a bystander. Many people may feel helpless to act during a cardiac emergency because they either do not know how to administer CPR or their training has significantly lapsed. Come learn the basics about choking and hand only CPR.

Join TLC’s Teachers and Occupational Therapist, Alison Koblin for a Parent workshop. Alison, a pediatric OT with over 30-years’ experience, will offer support and advice for parents on how best to develop your child’s fine and gross motor skills at home. The TLC teachers will provide helpful tips and ideas on how to work with your child and integrate learning over the summer months. Learn about how Tumbles can help enhance your child's gross motor skills in class by developing their skills at different stages. Gross motor skills learned at the beginning of a session are introductory as we encourage them to practice the skills to make them stronger and more confident. Topics: *Fine and Gross Motor Skills, a fundamental aspect of every child's development. *Handwriting development and grip *Integrating learning over the summer months *Q & A *** Prizes will be raffled!
