Rebecca's Reviews: Patchology SMARTMUD™ No Mess Mud Masque: Detox

I absolutely love the product!  I have tried many different facial products and never had a masque feel so good on my skin.  It leaves your face feeling soft and at the same time it is formulated to detox your skin. 

What’s great about this masque is it comes in a two-part sheet form. No mess here!  To use it I started by washing my face. I applied the masque by peeling off the white side and applying to my face. Once I had it on my face I peeled the clear backing off. I was then able to contour the product to the upper half of my face. I then repeated this process for the bottom half of my face. It's recommended that the masque stay on for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes I removed it and washed the excess off.

What I truly love about this masque is your able to apply it and move around as you normally would. Patchology recommends that you use the sheet masque once a week.  One downside to the masque was I did end up with a few blemishes the next day.  After a day or two they did subside.  I contacted the company about it and they confirmed that is normal since you are detoxing your skin.  “It is designed to pullout any existing impurities. Continued use with this masque should clarify and clear the skin completely, but if you feel your skin is reacting negatively, we would recommend discontinuing use or consulting with your dermatologist.”
