A wide variety of artists from across the country with fine visual art on display. The event will also have musical entertainment, demonstrations by exhibitors, and an opportunity to sample seafood delicacies. The three-day festival takes place in the unique setting of Atalaya, a Moorish-style “castle” built in the Great Depression as a winter home and sculpture studio by Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington.
Get your fill of spanikopita, gyros, baklava, cookies, salads, pastries, breads and more as St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church hosts this tasty annual event. The event is fun for the whole family and offers inflatables, live performances and music, craft and vendor tables and tours of the beautiful church.
$12 includes unlimited laser tag, skating, and inflatables. Must show ID, for locals only.

Huntington Beach State Park is considered by many to be the best birding spot in South Carolina. Come see why for yourself! Local birders, Phil and Sharon Turner, will lead a walk along the causeway to search the freshwater pond and salt marsh for a variety of birds. Depending on the season, we might observe herons, egrets, rails, woodstorks, shorebirds, ducks, bald eagles and more! Bring binoculars and a field guide if you have them. Meet at the Causeway parking lot.

The 2018 Myrtle Beach Seafood Festival is a destination event that will celebrate the multitude of local seafood restaurants and eateries along the Grand Strand! The festival will run Friday, Oct. 5 from 6 to 10 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 6 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place, located between 8th and 9th Avenues North downtown Myrtle Beach.

Neon Jump Night is Rockin’ Jump’s exclusive after-dark jump experience from 8:00PM to 10:00PM. Our price per jumper is $20.00 for 2 hours. The oldest of our three markets is hosted in a fitting turn of the century structure located at 217 Laurel Street and features fresh fruits, vegetables and artisan crafts produced in the areas right around Conway. Brookgreen’s annual fall festival, Harvest Home Weekend is from 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. October 6 and 7. This is one of our biggest family events! There is a huge pumpkin patch where kids (and adults!) can pick out their pumpkin to paint. An over the top scarecrow building contest, many families start planning their scarecrow for the next year the minute the current year is over! Hayrides, great food, live entertainment (kid friendly!), opportunities to meet animals and the entire Gardens are open to explore.
The Waccamaw Arts and Crafts Guild’s popular Art in the Park events are back at Chapin Park and Valor Memorial Garden in 2018. For 45 years, Art in the Park has featured both local and traveling artists. Artwork for sale includes paintings, woodworking, photography, jewelry, fabric, glass, metal, pottery, stone and more. The event is free to attend.
