The Georgetown Wooden Boat Show – always held on the third weekend in October – features one of the Southeast’s best wooden boat exhibits with more than 140 classic wooden boats displayed on land and water, children’s model boatbuilding, knot tying, maritime art and crafts, food and music. A special attraction is Saturday’s Wooden Boat Challenge when teams of two race to build a rowing skiff within a 4-hour time limit and then test their boats for seaworthiness in a rowing relay on the Sampit River.

Trunk or Treat is a family-friendly event and admission is free to the public! Vendors are prepared for more than 600 kids this year so you do NOT want to miss out on this amazing fun event! Trunk or treating will be begin promptly at 5 so you don’t want to miss! Huntington Beach State Park is considered by many to be the best birding spot in South Carolina. Come see why for yourself! Local birders, Phil and Sharon Turner, will lead a walk along the causeway to search the freshwater pond and salt marsh for a variety of birds. Depending on the season, we might observe herons, egrets, rails, woodstorks, shorebirds, ducks, bald eagles and more! Bring binoculars and a field guide if you have them. Meet at the Causeway parking lot.

The oldest of our three markets is hosted in a fitting turn of the century structure located at 217 Laurel Street and features fresh fruits, vegetables and artisan crafts produced in the areas right around Conway. Bring the family, meet your old friends and make some new friends. Enjoy scheduled entertainment and special events.
This FREE community event is a hands-on, interactive experience for kids and their families to look, see, touch and ask questions. From emergency vehicles to trash trucks, big rigs and more, kids are encouraged to explore all the vehicles on display and trick-or-treat with all the vendors. The City of North Myrtle Beach welcomes all ages to Howl-O-Scream at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex. The spooktacular site includes hayrides, pumpkin painting, marshmallow roasting, trick-or-treating and a variety of scare and scare-free zones.
The park will be open to all ages. Admission is $2 for adults ages 15 and up; $1 for children 5-14, and free for children 4 and under.
Plyler Park will be transformed into LITTLE PARK OF HORRORS for our Halloween Musical Review! This event is family friendly even for your little goblins. An over the top fun musical review featuring costumed characters and music from the 60’s, 70’s 80’s and 90’s. After Dark Saturday is our “Family Night Out” open jump night. $20.00 per jumper for 2 hours, includes slice of pizza and drink. Be ready to jump, laugh with friends and family, and enjoy an evening of “fitness and competition disguised as fun”.
