This shopping and kids event will feature a tented shopping village featuring some of the best indie talent, as well as a kids activity area with henna and glitter tattoos, arts and crafts, honey tastings, giveaways, etc. during various times throughout the weekend. The Charleston Battery will be on hand with soccer activities. We’ve partnered with The Bee Cause, and are thrilled they will be joining us with fun, educational activities to promote awareness of both honey bees and their initiative to bring honey bee hives to schools all over the country. Hurricane Boxing is a place for people who want all the fitness benefits of training like a real boxer but aren’t necessarily interested in getting in the ring and fighting another person. A fully equipped boxing gym with a ring and all necessary training equipment.

The Mount Pleasant Farmers Market is where our community meets to share in a vibrant array of locally grown and SC Certified produce. Stroll through the market to find a bounty of just-picked vegetables, fruits, and fragrant flowers along with local seafood, fresh-cooked meals, baked and canned goods, and locally produced snacks.

Parks & Pacies Playgroup The Charleston Parks Conservancy is hosting its springtime Parks & Pacies playgroup. Meet like-minded moms and dads to try out some of the city's best playgrounds with the Park Angels. Snacks will be provided.

It's Education Day at The Joe! Kids from around the Lowcountry enjoy a special 11:05 first pitch.
Looking for something fun for the kids on EARLY DISMISSAL DAY? We would love to see those smiling DD2 student faces. Spend the afternoon at the farm picking strawberries, playing on the playground, and visiting the chickens. Lunch will be available for purchase. Just bring a blanket, chair or use one of our picnic tables.

Weather permitting, Lowcountry Stargazers will host "Astronomy in the Park" at Brittlebank Park, most Wednesdays from sunset until 9pm (10pm DST), weather permitting. Stop by after work or before dinner and see what the universe has to offer. Our members will have a telescope or two set up, and will be available to answer your questions about the night sky.
We will set up at the north end of the park opposite the Marriott Hotel, and for those attending, we ask that you park in designated parking spaces, and not on the grass.

Join us every third Friday of the month for a fun storytime for the kids. Readers and stories provided by Books-A-Million.
Books-A-Million storyteller will be here to create wonderful memories for a 30 minute story time each month. This is a perfect time for you to enjoy an early morning mall walk and then relax as kids have story time! Story time is the third Friday of every month at 9:30am at the Heritage Trust Play Area located in the Food Court. Guardians will need to supervise children during this time.

The third Friday of every month we offer a special program for home schooling families. These programs feature one of our field trip classes, a chance to go through the Museum, and an activity.

Low tide is the best time to see a wide variety of Charleston's coastal birds foraging in the flats just below Pitt Street Bridge in Mt. Pleasant! Keep your feet high and dry while we peek over the side of Pitt Street Bridge in Mt. Pleasant on a bird walk led by Audubon South Carolina's Coastal Program Coordinator, Nolan Schillerstrom. Low tide is around 6pm so we're timing it just right!

The CFM is dedicated to the support and advocacy of Lowcountry farmers, growers, prepared/packaged food, artisans, crafters, live performers and community groups of all kinds. We offer a variety of local produce, plants, herbs and cut flowers as well as breakfast and lunch vendors, live entertainment and an assortment of juried arts and crafts from local artisans. Attracting locals and tourists alike, the CFM is the community connection, bringing together people from all parts of the Lowcountry and beyond.
So before you go to the High Water Fest, do a good deed for your neighbors! PCC is having another food distribution at the Ferndale Community Center. Google has different addresses. 1919 Bolton Ave is located just West of the railroad tracks by Montague and Gaynor. Go North on Railroad Ave, turn left on Bolton. Community center will be on your left just between Railroad Ave, and Piedmont Ave. We're asking volunteers to help unload at 9:00am. Thanks everyone!

Join Postpartum Support Charleston every other Saturday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. for a peer-led support group for women working through perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Look for us inside Mixson Grille. Enter through the doors by the outdoor seating. Are you having trouble adjusting to motherhood? Are you feeling sad, anxious, angry or scared? Do you feel like there is no hope to feeling better? Are you physically and emotionally exhausted? You’re not alone, mama. *This is a woman-only group (female friends and family members are welcome to join), and we welcome babies in arms. One-on-one support is available upon request. Postpartum Support Charleston is a Mount Pleasant-based 501c3 founded in 2000.
