Kids age 6 and younger are always welcome to jump during standard park hours, but #KidsJump is reserved just for these little ones from 9am to 10am Monday through Saturday. They can jump with kids their own age without the rustle and bustle of a bunch of other kids in the way.
Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls is a book that reinvents fairy tales and inspires girls (and boys!) with the stories of 100 extraordinary women, from Elizabeth I to Serena Williams. We’re celebrating Women’s History Month with a celebration of our own “rebel girls.” Bring your little rebel girl or rebel boy and join us for a meet-and-greet with some Rebel Girls characters from the book (including Frieda Khalo, Julia Child and Catherine Johnson) and some of Charleston’s own rebel girls (including Joan Robinson Berry fromBoeing South Carolina, Chef Lauren from WildFlour Pastry, local architects from Liollio Architecture, The Lowcountry Highrollers and more)!
Children are encouraged (but not required!) to bring their favorite stuffed animal. Our friends at Patrick Veterinary Clinic are bringing their own “rebel girl”-veterinarian to do stuffed animal check-ups!
Join Postpartum Support Charleston every other Saturday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. for a peer-led support group for women working through perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Look for us inside Mixson Grille. Enter through the doors by the outdoor seating. Are you having trouble adjusting to motherhood? Are you feeling sad, anxious, angry or scared? Do you feel like there is no hope to feeling better? Are you physically and emotionally exhausted? You’re not alone, mama. *This is a woman-only group (female friends and family members are welcome to join), and we welcome babies in arms. One-on-one support is available upon request. Postpartum Support Charleston is a Mount Pleasant-based 501c3 founded in 2000.
Toddler Time is a great shared experience for child and parent. A time for your little ones to discover the joy of being active, bouncing under the supervision of their parents, and without interference from the big kids.

Local music, dance and visual arts studios offer stunning performances by some of the area’s most talented individuals and groups. Creative aspirations are ignited in children who are given opportunities to explore many art forms and create their own masterpieces, such as beaded jewelry, sand art and a variety of artistic crafts.

A Parents' Night Out focused on letting the kids have their own fun and get their energy out for a night. We've turned the gym at Hurricane Boxing into a dance club for middle schoolers (lights up, music loud) to dance the night away. For the kids who just want to hang out with their friends we'll be showing movies on the projector in the front room.
Concessions available for purchase. Certified and trained youth boxing instructors will be chaperoning.
Parents must register and sign a waiver on site when dropping child off; parent must present ID when picking up child.
