In an effort to stop childhood drowning, The Hunterdon County YMCA is offering 2nd graders who are at the beginner level (total non-swimmer and doggie paddlers) one free session of swim lessons per school year. We ran the first session in Fall 2016. The next session (remember they can only take one), will be held during our spring I Session. The classes will be offered every afternoon Monday thru Thursday at 4 pm. Saturday at 8 am and 12 noon and Sunday at 9 am. Students may enroll on line now. The classes run from Feburary 27 through April 15.
Students register for one class (ie., Monday at 4) and attend once a week for 7 weeks. The classes are 45 minutes in length and cover water safety, basic swimming and survival skills. Children will be evaluated and given a progress report at the end of the session.
WonderKids Club™ is a preschool prep program in Hillsborough that extends The Little Gym experience with active learning and center activities, arts and crafts projects and various art media, story time, and creative play with LEGO® DUPLO® bricks. Our immersive play and learning activities help prepare kids for success in school. For parents, like you, WonderKids Club provides a few hours of much-needed grown-up time and the confidence that your child is happy and growing in a safe, structured, familiar environment.
Stroller-fitness program that helps moms regain or enhance pre-pregnancy fitness levels and meet the physical challenges of parenting by emphasizing strength and cardio training in a supportive environment. ***Starting in January, our Mommy and Me class transitions to a drop-off program for 2.5 - 3 year olds and we still have spaces available.***
The program provides children with the opportunity to first experience school with their mom or dad or other caring adult. Within a flexible and gentle routine, a variety of experiences are available to each child: age appropriate academics, imaginary play, block building, crafts, circle time, music and movement, playground activities, and story time. Language development and socialization are also components of the experience. This program provides an excellent segue to the Terrific 2’s and 3’s class as the children now have confidence in themselves in a school environment.

Dance, Play & Learn with your little one in our weekly class on Wednesdays from 10:00-10:30am then stay and play from 10:30-11:00am while meeting other local parents like you. We will sing, read and shake to the beat. Maracas, drum sticks, ribbon sticks, bubbles and more. Parent or Guardian must attend.
Attire: Comfortable Clothing and Sneakers.
Paint me a story is an interactive story time that incorporates a great story followed by painting either a ceramic or canvas painting that is related to the story. An instructor will read the story and then instruct each adult on how to assist their little one. This class is for ages 5 and younger and at least one adult is required per child. Ceramics will require pick up in 7-10 days, canvas paintings will be taken home the same day. Today we will paint a ceramic dragon. Come for mommy and me time or call some friends for a play date.
Tumble Bear kids and toddler gymnastics classes begin with a group warm-up followed by the use of traditional gymnastics apparatus along with a specialized preschool and toddler equipment designed for small children. Preschool gymnastics classes include fun and educational themes and a wide array of physical education skills using various props.
Drop the kids off, ages 6 and older and we will create a 5" square sun catcher of their choice. Project pick up will be 7-10 days from camp date. You may bring a drink and a snack. Advanced registration is required.

Our mission is to provide a fun and positive experience that encourages the love of language and reading in all its forms. Crafts, yoga, movement, singing, dance, and puppetry will be incorporated into our storytime to expose them to the various layers literature. There will always be a language-based game at the end of each storytime to review concepts learned during a book. It's a great way to practice paying attention, following directions, developing pre-reading skills, and socializing. Therapeutic art is the creative process of art making to improve and enhance the physical, mental and emotional well-being of individuals of all ages.
A multi-media course with an emphasis on drawing and painting to provide students with a basic understanding of composition and design. Line, shape, texture, color, and form are taught in a variety of media including pencil, marker, chalk, acrylics, and sculpture, so that student may have the means to express their unique and personal style.
Build confidence while learning basic Karate skills. Elements of balance, coordination and agility will be taught. Moderate and advanced classes available upon request. All abilities are welcome!

Be inspired together and make colorful memories in the Gymboree Art Studio. Sculpt with a giant block of clay, design a family tree, paint a mural or make a creation of your very own. Art classes are suitable for children ages 18 months - 5 years and the whole family.
Beginning toddlers between 12 to 36 months and their parent
These parent participation classes introduce beginning tumbling and agility skills. A child will develop balance, hand-eye coordination, kinesthetic awareness and strength to help your child’s overall development. Our fun setting gives you the chance to interact with your child and become part of their success.
Don't leave the kids home with a babysitter, send them to Gone Paintin' for three hours of painting, art and pizza fun. Please list child's age when signing up so we may cater projects age appropriately. We offer canvas, ceramics and glass fusing. Let's see where the night takes us while you enjoy a night out without the kids.

Our Saturday program has three general stations that offer different activities each week. Arts/crafts, sports and gross motor, Community Service and life skills. We often incorporate karate, yoga and music as well!

Kids can explore the farm answering finding clues and then roast some marshmallows and enjoy a cup of our fresh cider. Hard cider on tap available for purchase by those over 21. The projects in this JEWELRY class will focus on making jewelry, jewelry storage, and displays.

Each 45 minute class provides interaction and musical play between caregivers and children, in a fun-filled, non-performance environment. We'll sing, dance, and play with various child-safe rhythm instruments. Live instrument (guitar, ukulele or keyboard) are played by instructor in every class. Fall, winter and spring semesters are 10 weeks; summer is 6 weeks.
