Each class consists of a dynamic warm-up, skill building, collaborative play, improvisations and act creation. This class will present an informal Sharing on the last day of class, during normal class time. Students are welcome to invite friends and family to watch the Sharing, which may consist of an act or a simple presentation of skills learned over the course of the semester.

This weekly art class will help students to improve their painting skills by introducing more advance painting techniques. This class will introduce students to oil painting, as well as building on their skills with oil pastels, watercolors, watercolor pencils, tempera and acrylic paint.
Lessons will focus on helping students create representational paintings. Students will learn how to see their subject as a collection of shapes, will learn size relationships, measuring tricks and proportion of objects. Students will continue to learn about the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design to help them begin to make choices about their art work. As with all Teen classes students will be able to choose the subject for their paintings.

Students will use air dry clay, Sculpey clay, Plaster of Paris, Paper Clay & Paper Mache, and found objects to create their projects. Hillsborough Memorial Day Parade & Ceremonies

Parade at the intersection of Auten and Triangle Roads
This year’s Memorial Day commemorative program will kick off with the ‘Salute to Veterans’ Breakfast at the Peter J. Biondi Municipal Building at 7:30 a.m., followed by the Memorial Day Parade which will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Auten and Triangle Roads. The Salute to Veterans Breakfast will be held May 28 th rain or shine.
The ceremony at the Garden of Honor, at 11:15 a.m., will conclude the formal events for the day.
The rain date for the Parade and Garden of Honor Ceremonies is Sunday, May 29th.
