Kite Day is a perfect time to explore the farm during our spring festival. Bring your own kite or choose a ready-made kite from the wide selection in the store. Or better yet, make a "guaranteed to fly" kite. The farm will ring with country music and entertainment all weekend. The whole family can tour the orchards in a tractor-drawn farm wagon. The sheep will be shorn on Sunday and children can take home a piece of real fleece.

Or better yet, make a "guaranteed to fly" kite. Whichever you choose, test fly your kite in our wide-open 10-acre pasture with all the farm animals looking on. The farm will ring with country music all weekend. The whole family can tour the orchards and fields while riding in a tractor-drawn farm wagon. The sheep will be shorn on Sunday at 2pm and the children can take home a piece of real fleece. There will be special activities and games for children in the barnyard.

Family-friendly activities are offered on the first Sunday of every month, including the museum's popular scavenger hunt. Visit the Studio Z learning center throughout the day for self-guided learning and creativity. 

Studio Z is an education space with activities for younger visitors. The studio's computer terminal includes the Junior Curator program, which allows anyone to become a curator and organize Zimmerli artworks.The space also features a selection of works created by Summer Art Camp participants, as well as works by students from the New Brunswick public school system.

Our film is “The Big Year” (2011) starring Steven Martin, Owen Wilson, and Jack Black, a comedy about two bird enthusiasts who try to defeat the world record holder in a year-long bird-spotting competition. Three men find that they have come to a turning point. Stu (Steve Martin) faces a late-life crisis, Kenny (Owen Wilson) is in the grip of a midlife crisis, and Brad (Jack Black) is wallowing in a no-life crisis. Determined to kick-start their stagnant lives, Stu, Kenny and Brad decide to enter a prestigious contest. During the course of one calendar year, the three friendly rivals criss-cross North America in a quest to count more species of birds than anyone else.
