Come for a free, fun event for all ages. Follow the treasure hunt clues and find our surprise! Wonderful for children ages 2 – 8 years. Each child can make a bunny to take home; everyone can enjoy a Terhune Orchards bunny cookie. Enjoy wagon rides around the farm. Our Farm Food Tent will be filled with homemade goodies: donuts, pie, cookies, cider, soup, chili, salads, hot dogs and more. Adults visit our Terhune Orchards Vineyard and Winery Tasting Room to sample our award winning wines made from grapes grown right here on the farm. Fun event for all ages.

Learn to Skate group classes are for skaters age 2 through adult who are looking to learn how to ice skate. Our classes are designed to teach skaters the basic skating skills needed to confidently skate on their own along with the skills necessary to progress into the sport of Figure Skating or Hockey. No prior skating experience is necessary to join our Learn to Ice Skate program. A new program starts up every 6 – 8 weeks.

Build A Butterfly House

Join our hands-on workshop with your child and build a butterfly house to welcome some fluttering insect friends after a long winter. After the butterfly house is built, your child can decorate their project with paint.
All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last.
Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron and pin.

Youngsters ages 4-7 will have the opportunity to discover and explore a variety of circus disciplines including: aerials, acrobatics, ground props & balance skills. Each class consists of a dynamic warm-up, skill building, collaborative play, improvisations and act creation.This class will present an informal Sharing on the last day of class, during normal class time. Students are welcome to invite friends and family to watch the Sharing, which may consist of an act or a simple presentation of skills learned over the course of the semester.

The Puddle Garden – Family Story & Hike

Join Jared Rosenbaum of Wild Ridge Plants, LLC as he shares his children’s book, The Puddle Garden, a tale about a bear cub who invites friends to his new house by creating a puddle garden. Learn how to invite wildlife to your home by introducing native plants such as cardinal flower, swamp milkweed, elderberry and more. The read-aloud is followed by an informational session and a visitation of the Watershed Center’s ‘puddle gardens’.

A planetarium show for families with children on the Autism Spectrum or with other developmental disabilities.
All ages are welcome to this one-hour sensory-friendly program. The show will provide a comfortable and judgment-free space that is welcoming to all families. The doors will remain open so that children will be able to come and go. Lights will be left dim and audio will be lowered and at a consistent level. The sky show will include: music, videos, planets, the Moon, constellations and laser lights. All material is presented on a very basic level.
