New Jersey State Museum

Soar through the skies in the Museum’s spacious Planetarium, featuring precision projection of more than 6000 stars. The largest planetarium facility in New Jersey features a Full Dome Video giving visitors the sensation of zooming through the Solar System and beyond. Four shows are featured: 11:00 am - One World, One Sky (ages 3-6 with adults); 12:00pm - Magic Tree House: Space Mission (suitable for preschool and up); 1:00pm - Laser SPace Chase (general audiences); 2:00 pm - Dark Universe (general audiences).

Junior Naturalists 2018

Spend one Sunday afternoon per month with a Duke Farms Educator learning all about the wonders of nature. Each Junior Naturalist (accompanied by an adult) will explore our habitats in every season and learn about a different nature topic each month. Part of each program is spent indoors learning about the topic of the month. Then we go outdoors to explore nature in the field.

Each Sunday in January, we will be offering Family Fun Paint Sessions from 2:30 - 4:00. The whole family can create the same canvas or select your favorite canvas from our website galleries and request your favorites for each painter. When registering online, be sure to mention that canvases you would like to paint in the messages section of the registration form.
