Peridot Art Studio seeks to develop artistic skills and creativity in a relaxed environment. Small classes in drawing and painting are offered in a nurturing studio setting where students work at their own pace in their chosen medium and receive individualized attention. All levels welcome.
Come jump, climb, slide, and bounce on our inflatables. There's something for everyone to do! It's a great way to get out of the house and get your energy out on cold rainy days. $10 cash ($11 credit) for as long as we are open. We also offer a monthly pass, so you can come as often as you'd like for an entire month! $35 for the first child, $30 each additional sibling.

Family-friendly activities are offered on the first Sunday of every month, including the museum's popular scavenger hunt. Visit the Studio Z learning center throughout the day for self-guided learning and creativity.
Studio Z is an education space with activities for younger visitors. The studio's computer terminal includes the Junior Curator program, which allows anyone to become a curator and organize Zimmerli artworks.The space also features a selection of works created by Summer Art Camp participants, as well as works by students from the New Brunswick public school system.

Our upcoming film is “The Messenger” (2015) is an artful investigation into the causes of songbird mass depletion and the compassionate people who are working to turn the tide. The film takes viewers on a visually stunning journey revealing how the problems facing birds also pose daunting implications for our planet and ourselves.
Participants design and build a boat made of only cardboard and duct tape to carry them across the length of a 25 yard pool. The boat is created before the day of the race. No other materials including sealant spray, plastics or cardboard tubing can be used. Only cardboard boxes and duct tape of any and all colors are permitted. Only pool noodles may be used as oars. 1:30pm Check-in, 2:00pm Race Start
Prizes will be given to the winners of the following divisions.
Mini Division - Ages 6-9 years old
Junior Division - Ages 10-12 year old
Family Division - Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
Adult Division - Ages 18 and older
Pack a picnic and lose yourself in the gentle imagery of local poets Daniel Harris, Dave Worrell, Pat Hardigree and Joan Goldstein. By the soft banks of Rock Brook, these well-regarded poets will read their works. With the gentle murmur of Rock Brook and the light shining through the trees, relax and immerse yourself in this worthwhile event. Food for body and soul.
This is the final 1st Sunday in the Park program for the season. Picnic on the ground or in the comfort of your own chair. Good for all ages. Severe inclement weather cancels the event.

Bring the kids and discover the MAGIC of fairies while creating a fairy garden and garden snacks!
Included are: A Fairy Garden with live plants and fairy accessories, strawberry marshmallow mushrooms and cookie wands.
Additional children are $15 each (additional children receive a dessert, cookie wand and creation of their own fairy for the garden - 1 garden per family, additional gardens can be purchased for the $30.
Join us for our kids international culinary boot camp. Classes include knife skills and world cuisines including dishes from Mexico, Italy, Mediterranean and Indian and are vegetarian. Classes run from 2 to 4 pm and are taught by superstar chef-instructor Angela Quinn! Class 4: Indian Roti, Vegetable Curry, Dal, Mango Lassi
